Attention wrestling parents/players!!!!! The weather is finally getting nice so it's time for the wrestling banquet. It will be held on Sunday, May 19th @ 5:00 pm at Stevenson Park. We will have a BBQ and celebrate the kids achievements and a great year.

Friendly reminder that any student interested in Drivers' Education this summer must have their form signed and turned in to the high school office or to Mrs. Donnelly by Monday 5/13 at the very, very latest! Forms are available in the high school office or inside Mrs. Donnelly's door. There are 24 spaces available in the class and the class is filled by age--beginning with the oldest.

Today is Election Day! Just a reminder that all ballots must be to the county elections office by 8:00 p.m. tonight. Three Forks School District is still a location to drop off ballots. They can be dropped off at the high school office until 8:00 p.m. tonight. Thank you for voting!

Attention Elementary School Families: There has been a slight change to the May 14th 2YK-5 Spring Concert schedule. Please see below. The concerts will take place in the HS Auditorium. Grades 4-5 @ 1:45 p.m. Grades 2-3 @ 2:30 p.m. Grades 2YK-1 @ 3:00 p.m.

Three Forks Schools will meet for staff negotiations on Thursday, May 9th @ 5:30 pm in the TFS Board Conference Room.

HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who supported the 8th-grade class trip by purchasing a raffle ticket! We drew names on Wolves Live last Thursday and the winners have been notified! The fundraiser was wildly successful. They surpassed their fundraising goal by about $1000. Thank you to the businesses that donated raffle items! A huge thank you to Emily Evans, a WIMU Veterinary Student, for taking time to come and talk to the Veterinary Science Class. Emily is former student of Montana State University, who is completing her first year of Vet School in Bozeman. Emily will then spend the next three years in the WIMU program in Pulman, Washington. We appreciate Emily coming in and talking to our Vet Science Students about what it is like being in Vet School, and what information she wished she knew going into Vet School. She covered opportunities, curriculum, and what the day-to-day life of a vet science student looks like. She also had time to do a quick lab and demonstrate how to give a neurologic exam on an animal. Then our students practiced on each other! Thank you, Emily Evans, for your time and insight!

The CTE Department is nearing completion of its first courtyard project! The ground was leveled, and stakes were cut off! Then gravel was poured and spread! We would like to offer a special thank you to Chris Lien of Three Forks Lumber & Ready Mix for donating and bringing over gravel for us today. This project is nearing completion! Great work by the students of Horticulture Science as well for putting in so much effort into this project!

The Montana FFA Foundation just released their photos from state convention, and Three Forks FFA made it into a couple! We have Blaze Stout competing in meats, Calla Donnelly's State Officer Canadidte picture, Calla Donnelly signing her decloration of becoming an Agriculture Educator, Mr. Noyes getting hypnotized, and, of course, or 2nd place forestry team! Keep doing great Three Forks FFA!

Middle school track was canceled today 5/1 in Butte and unfortunately, I didn't see the email until today. I apologize for the poor communication on my end. The middle school track meet scheduled for tomorrow 5/2 @ Lone Peak has also been canceled. It hasn't been confirmed yet but it sounds like they will try and reschedule both meets the week of 5/13-5/17. I will keep coaches, students and parents informed when I get confirmation. Thanks

Last night, co-advisors Paula McDonald and Anna Berghausen, as well as principal Greg Heys and speaker Sandra Cutler, inducted the 2024 National Honor Society members in. Newly sworn in students include: Zaida Bertrand, Claire Cutler, Ciel Gayle, Aislynn Gifford, Corban Lewellen, Kylie Martin, Sarah Raffety, Mackenzie Roy, Rylee Smith, Abbey Tallman and Amanda Wilcox. Members that are still active include: Joshua Delger, Savannah Emens, Eliionna Fighting Bear, Isabella Jones, Devynn Judd, and Kylee Reichman. Outgoing members include: Jordan Berg, Calla Donnelly, Bryon Fanning, Madison Griffiths, Ari Judd, Zoe Pyfer, Ashley Welch, Lauren Welch, Shane Williams and Karin Williams. The National Honor Society is one of the oldest co-curricular student organizations in the United States aimed at recognizing well-rounded students. It is built on values that include the four pillars of scholarship, service, leadership and character.

The Three Forks School District will hold a Special Board Meeting on Thursday, May 2, 2024 @ 5:30 in the Board Conference Room. The Special Board Meeting is needed to consider approval of a change in the district health insurance contract. The regular May 21st meeting will still follow as scheduled with agenda to follow. Friendly reminder that 8th graders need to turn their raffle tickets and money in by tomorrow (5/1) for the drawing on Thursday. Turn them into the middle school office. Thank you!
