We have another contest to win a 2023-2024 YEARBOOK! This time, however, we want to know how many pounds of non-perishable food items students and staff can bring to benefit the Headwaters Area Food Bank. And, to make it a little more fun, we are tying in to the Cat/Griz rivalry. Will Grizzly fans or Bobcat fans bring more food?? The first period/classroom class with the most pounds wins breakfast treats, the Cat or Griz fans win a year of bragging rights and one lucky winner from each school (Elementary, Middle & High) will win a Yearbook (up to $52 value). Collections start TODAY and run through Thursday, November November 16. Contact joehmcke@threeforks.k12.mt.us with questions.

Thank you Three Forks Education Foundation!
Another fun couple of days in the Agriculture classroom! 7th Graders worked hard to finish their final wood projects, which they created using power tools. Livestock/Animal Science had the opportunity to interact with a special guest, Henrietta the chicken. Henrietta was used to teach about avian digestion and the anatomy of chickens. Thank you Ayla for bringing your chicken for a visit. On the FFA side of things, Three Forks FFA is gearing up for the John Deere Ag. Expo. Trenton Braaten, an FFA alumni and collegiate livestock judger, volunteered his time to come in and work with the livestock team. Thank you Trenton for you time!

Attention middle school girls basketball parents, spectators, and players. We have to make a change to the schedule. Our game that was scheduled @ Belgrade on Monday, November 6th has been moved to the following day Tuesday, November 7th. Belgrade double-booked themselves and has parent-teacher conferences on November 6th so they asked to change it to November 7th. Thanks.

Hi Three Forks Community, Three Forks Schools will be taking part in Operation Holiday again this year. This operation works to get Christmas presents for any child/kid that might be in need of Christmas presents this year. If your family is struggling to pay for extra Christmas presents this year or anyone you know might be struggling with getting gifts, please have them fill out this form (one for each kid) and gifts will be bought for them and brought to the school for pick up. All of this will be done with complete anonymity. The form to submit for gifts will be attached below. If you or someone you know is struggling with money for gas or groceries, at the end of the form you can mention that and we will do our best to get some gift cards with the gifts to help out. If you have any questions about Operation Holiday, please email Josh Jarvis at jjarvis@threeforks.k12.mt.us Thank you! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfRGAeVWO2aEZEM9pxo1AmXl3BvQpzl3RBfrGx68-DVKYU3ww/viewform

Guess what! We are working on reviving the drama program at Three Forks Schools! An elementary play is planned for this fall. Auditions are on Wednesday, November 1 after school. If you scan the code on the flier and let us know you have a kid or two or three or four wanting to participate, that would be helpful! But if you don't, they are still encouraged to come audition if they would like to be a part of the play!
