Three Forks School District

Three Forks Summer Enrichment will be going to the Museum of the Rockies tomorrow, August 3rd. Staff will greet students at 8:15am and take them to breakfast as they normally do. The bus will leave the school between 8:45am and 9:00am. It will arrive back to the school before 2:30pm. Have your child bring a backpack and water bottle. We are looking forward to a fantastic day!

Attention Incoming Kindergarten Families!! -We are excited to welcome our new crew of K students to the TFES team. Check out the dates below for important information about the start of Kindergarten for the 23-24 school year. August 23-24 ALL enrolled Kindergarten students/parents will meet by the picnic tables on the playground prior to 10 a.m. From 10-12 all K students will work with the Kindergarten staff. At noon, parents will pick up their Kindergartener on the playground. This same schedule will take place on both August 23 and 24. Following the session on August 24, the Kindergarten teaching team will reach out to parents to notify them of their child's classroom placement. At this time, teachers will also provide information about Kindergarten Orientation sessions that will take place on August 28-29. August 28-29 The Kindergarten team will have scheduled blocks for parents / Kindergarteners to stop by the classroom and drop off school supplies. This will also provide a more private environment for parents to inquire about screening and expectations for the upcoming school year. Wednesday, August 30 First day of Kindergarten!! Kindergarten students will follow the same schedule as grades 1-12, with class starting at 8 a.m. and dismissal occurring at 3:45 p.m. *It is important to note that due to Kindergarten Orientation, Kindergarten families will not be attending the Open House on August 22. *If you have questions about the upcoming Kindergarten school year please contact Mr. Steve Fanning @ sfanning@threeforks.k12.mt.us Thanks!!

All High School Sports Reminder: There will be a mandatory parent meeting for all sports participants held next week, Tuesday, August 8th @ 6:30 pm in the Three Forks Gymnasium. Fall sports practices begin on August 11th. Each athlete must have a current physical turned in prior to participation. Unfortunately, there can be NO exceptions to this rule.

Three Forks Summer Enrichment, 2nd Session, Week 1

The Three Forks School District has opened the annual on-line registration for the school year 2023-24. ALL students must register each year in order to provide updated contact information, proof of residency, transportation information, and district agreements. The link for on-line registration is on the district website and includes a link for new students as well as a tutorial and help option. https://www.tfschools.com

The Three Forks School District needs your help! We currently have three bus routes but need to be running 4-5 routes. The district will pay the cost of your CDL licensing and offer a $1500 signing bonus. We are willing to accept applications for both full and half routes (morning and / or afternoon). In order to keep manageable student passenger numbers on our busses, as well as continue the athletic transportation, we need drivers! Please consider supporting your children and our schools!

Reminder: There is no Three Forks Summer Enrichment this coming week, 07/24 - 07/27. The 2nd session will begin 07/31. This session runs for 3 weeks, Monday - Thursday. We are looking forward to a great 2nd session!!

Reminder: The Three Forks School District will hold a second screening for all district resident children turning 4 on or before Sept 10, 2023. These are children who are eligible for kindergarten entry in the fall of 2024. The screening is required as part of our enrollment process for the district's new PreK Early Learning Program for the 2023-24 school year. This program will offer a PreK program that follows the school schedule M-Th 8-3:45. For more information call TFS @ 406-285-3224 Ext 124 .
