Three Forks School District

RUGBY time for both MS and HS! Huge shout out to the "Try Rugby" team for coming in and showing us how it's done! Parents...there are some awesome club rugby competitions this fall and next spring! There are flyers around the school to get more information about it.

Tonight is the first home volleyball game of the season. The Lady Wolves battle against the Ennis Mustangs. Head to the gym and show these ladies your support. Games start at 4pm! Go Wolves!!

I was informed that Manhattan Christian is having a Harvest Fest in their old gym on the night of October 23rd, so we won’t be able to have our junior high volleyball game that evening.

We had planned on having the varsity teams play in the main gym and the middle school teams in the old gym. Unfortunately, the other dates they gave me don’t work with our schedule, so we will have to cancel that game.

Junior High volleyball at Manhattan Christian on October 23rd is CANCELLED.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

I apologize, but I messed up on my end when scheduling Monforton for middle school football. I thought the game was scheduled for Monday, October 12th, but their AD has us scheduled for Tuesday, October 13th.

So, our game at Monforton is TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13th.

Three Forks FFA hit the ground running with their sponsorship visits yesterday! We spent the whole day traveling around Bozeman, Belgrade, Manhatten, and Three Forks.

The FFA members had a great time networking, making connections, and helping to establish awesome sponsors who are willing to invest in students like them! By the end of the day, we had visited with over 35 different businesses. We had some great conversations and appreciate all the businesses who gave us time to come visit!

While we did run out of time yesterday, we are always looking for sponsors/donors! We will send you the sponsorship form and would be happy to send an FFA member to visit with you!

TekNoXpo & ShowCASE is an opportunity for students in grades 9-12 to experience college programs and career pathways firsthand at MSU-Northern. MSU-N take great pride in their hands-on approach to learning and preparing students with the practical skills and experiences they need to succeed in their future careers. Rather than simply hearing about different fields, students will spend the morning in MSU-Northern's labs, shops, studios, and classrooms getting a feel for the work our students do every day.

Wolves Football Game Tomorrow! 🏈

I wanted to remind everyone that the Three Forks Wolves varsity football team has a game tomorrow night, Thursday, September 10, against Whitehall.

We had to move the game from Friday to Thursday to help the Bozeman officials cover all of the games in the valley this Friday, as several area schools have home games.

Come out and support the Wolves tomorrow night! Go Wolves!

Hopa Mountain offers several programs to support high school sophomores, juniors, or seniors who
are planning to go to college. If you are a high school student in Montana who has a GPA of 3.0 or
above and will be the first in your family to go to college or self-identify as low-income, you are
invited to apply to Hopa Mountain’s Scholars of Promise program. If you are in foster care, kinship
care, or homeless, you can apply with a 2.5 GPA. If you are a high school student with a GPA of 2.5
or above and are interested in earning a health-related degree, you are invited to apply to our Health
Scholars of Promise program. If you are a Native American student, enrolled or descendant, with a 3.0
GPA or above, you are invited to apply to our Indigenous Scholars of Promise program. These college
preparation programs will provide students with training, mentoring, and support services to help
them prepare to apply to the colleges and universities of their choice.

Benefits of being a Scholar of Promise:
● Training and coaching meetings to help you prepare to apply to colleges/universities
and succeed once you are there.
● Assistance with admissions essays, application/testing fees, and scholarship
applications.
● Mentor and peer support throughout the college preparation process.
● Recognition through participation in the Scholars of Promise program.

5. Proper arrangement of all items

Wildlife and Recreation had a great time making proper "environments" for their wildlife animal, the grizzly (cinnamon) bear. Check out these awesome models containing all 5 elements.

Pictures are all that remain, as the creators of the models then ate them! Fun times in Agriculture!
