Three Forks FFA has a great fundraising opportunity coming up on October 29th! For details on the fundraiser, we ask that you please visit and follow our personal Facebook page (Three Forks FFA Chapter) or our Instagram page (threeforks_ffa). Thank you very much!
Three Forks FFA recently returned from attending the National FFA Convention. We did so much that there was very little time to post. There will be a series of short posts following this one that will share our experiences and thank some amazing people and donors who made the trip possible! Stay tuned!

Final Day! A very, very tired Three Forks FFA Chapter made their way home. It was a long and full week, but the connections, skills, and experiences these students had will be a part of their lives forever! These young leaders have had the privilege of being among the first members of the Three Forks FFA Chapter to ever attend the National FFA Convention! We are proud of you Three Forks FFA!

Three Forks FFA had an amazing time at the National FFA Convention this past week! Not only did our members have a good time, they got the opportunity to grow as leaders, network with countless individuals, become more passionate about their involvement in FFA, and truly see the national impact this organization has on students like them. It is safe to say that they have come back to their home chapter with a newfound pride to be in FFA and make a difference in their community! Enjoy the recount of our adventure!
Day 1 of our journey was all traveling. We met up with the Colstrip and Broadwater FFA chapters in Belgrade and spent the day traveling to Nashville, Tennessee. For some of our members, this was their very first flying experience!
We would like to give a special thank you to our chaperones from all three chapters who went on this trip with us. Three Forks FFA offers a very special thank you to Amee Smith for being our chaperone and keeping Mr. Noyes in line!

Day 2 of our adventure was super fun! We started at the Country Music Hall of Fame, ate some great lunch at Baja Taco, went to the Lost River Cave Boat Tour, and found our way to Louisville, Kentucky.

Day 3 of this amazing adventure took us from Louisville to Indianapolis. We started the day at Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Derby Museum, then the Louisville Slugger Museum, and finally made it to our primary destination, Indianapolis. We attended the Opening Session of the National FFA Convention in the NFL Indianapolis Colt Stadium! There were 67,000 FFA members and guests registered that day, with many more on the way! We ended the day with dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory, and a Megan Moroney concert!

Day 4!
Three Forks FFA had another very busy day! We spent the morning checking out the National FFA Expo. During the day, there were 96 student workshops, and 36 teacher workshops were offered, and there were 287 exhibitor booths set up in the Expo Hall. These booths consisted of employers, colleges, and teacher resource providers. Of course, there was lots of shopping as well in the National FFA Store!
We then went on a very informative agritourism tour at Indiana's Largest Paintball and Scream Park! We closed the day with the National FFA Rodeo! What a fun, fun day!

On Day 5 of our trip, our students took the opportunity to network with several colleges that came from around the nation to recruit FFA members to their schools. They spent more time in the trade show talking to future employers as well.
Three Forks FFA then volunteered to do some community service in Indianapolis. We went to the fairgrounds and assisted in the cleaning up of the National FFA events that were held there. Even when across the U.S., Three Forks FFA members continue to give back a model good citizenship. A few of our members attended a second National FFA Session, and went to a QA and a with the legendary Temple Grandin!
At the close of the day, we had a great pizza dinner, played some card games, and got packed for the trip home!

Three Forks FFA has done some amazing things in the past few years! However, none of that success would be possible without the amazing support of the Three Forks Schools Administration and Staff, the Three Forks School Board, the Three Forks Community, Parents, Alumni and Supporters, and, of course, our very generous donors and sponsors!

Earlier this week, Mr. Gongo, Mr. Frank, and Sara Lattimore took all the seniors from Three Forks HS to go get a tour of the Capitol building to see government in action. They got tours of the Senate Chamber, the Rotunda, the House Chamber, the Supreme Court, and got to meet with Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen. They were given information on the history of each building, meaningful art history throughout the Capitol, famous Montana Politicians, and the importance of voting in the upcoming election!
