Three Forks FFA member, Kortney Merritt, attended the Sedan Cow Camp and Show Clinic this past weekend to expand her showmanship knowledge and learn how to present her animal projects better. Kortney will be exhibiting these amazing steers at Broadwater Country Fair this August. Come check them out this summer!

Beans, squash, corn, peas and radishes have sprouted. Sprinklers are up and unning and the sun is shining. Here we Grow! Montana Farmers Union, Donors Choose, Three Forks Lumber and Ready Mix, Wagners Nursery and Landscaping, GCC Cement, Yes Composting and students in Family and Consumer Sciences and Business at TFHS have built a living growing classroom!

We continue to be grateful for the gravel donation that GCC provided Three Forks Schools last fall. The big kids helped the little kids out by constructing a graveled seating area that the grant-funded tables, chairs and water tables our littlest learners utilize. This saves our Maintenance Crews time and energy when mowing the lawns in the greenspace.

Three Forks FFA had the great opportunity to attend the 30th Broadwater County Ag. Days on Thursday. We spent the day assisting with setup, teardown, giving presentations on Market Beef and Tractors, and running games for the elementary school students. It was a fun, busy day, and we had a great time teaching about agriculture!
