Mrs. Hayder and Mr. Gongliewski recently joined the Montana Youth Challenge Academy's (MYCA) Educator Airlift. Thanks to the Montana Army National Guard, they flew to Dillon with other educators in Blackhawk helicopters. While there, they had lunch, listened to a presentation about the program, and heard students share how MYCA has changed their lives. They also visited LeeAnna Gonsalves, a Three Forks student participating in the program.

The Agriculture Department's students ended the week with some fun activities. The Agriculture Mechanics students finished construction on their PVC roping dummies. The Principals of Agriculture class spent the week learning Parliamentary Procedure and then used those skills to run a meeting and create a Chex mix. Middle school students are beginning to wrap up construction on their clocks, and the Livestock Management class learned about proper animal nutrition and then created their own livestock feed! Fun times are happening!

Yesterday students in the Sophomore Composition classes spent the day at Madison Buffalo Jump State park, Missouri Headwaters State Park, The Depot Railroad Museum, and Headwaters Heritage Museum. Their task was to gather information for a research paper on a local topic. It was a beautiful day to hike to the top of the buffalo jump and around Fort Rock. Thank you to the local parks for the informational programs! Throwing ancient weapons is fun! And thank you to the local museum crew for opening their doors to us. It was an informative day!

The Three Forks FFA Sales Team had an amazing full day of practice yesterday. We start our morning in Livingston talking to Matt Strong. Matt is the Director of Sales for John Deere Frontline Ag Solutions. Our team was given the opportunity to talk through the entire sales process with Matt, and was given great advice on how to handle service calls as well. Thank you Matt Strong and Frontline Ag. Solutions for all your amazing help. Following our visit to Livingston, the sales team made its way to Kubota of Belgrade. We were given another great opportunity by talking with Kubota Salesman, Brady Collins. Kubota Skidsteers are the products we are selling this year, so we had a great chance to talk over our product, and even opperate them! Thank you Brady and Kubota of Belgrade! Great job Three Forks FFA!
