Three Forks School District invites the community of Three Forks, parents, and all Veterans to attend our 2024 Veteran's Day Program. The event will take place on November 11th, starting at 9:00 a.m. in the main gymnasium. We hope to see you there to recognize our Veterans! TFES parents, please have your children wear patriotic colors or nice attire.

It's that time of year again. Three Forks Schools has partnered with the Headwaters Area Food Bank to fill the shelves. Beginning Monday, students are invited to cast their vote for who they think will win this year's Cat/Griz football game by dropping food donations into each respective box! Reach out to Mrs. Oehmcke at joehmcke@threeforks.k12.mt.us with questions or if you would also like to donate to the cause. *All food/cash donations benefit the Headwaters Area Food Bank.

On behalf of Three Forks FFA and Three Forks School Agriculture Program, we want to say a huge thank you for all the support the community and our sponsors/supporters give to our organization and our members. Being a part of the Three Forks School Leaf Raking Day today is a small way of saying thank you and giving back to a community that supports and allows us to exist. We hope to continue to find other ways to constantly give back and show our appreciation to this wonderful community. Thank you for supporting Three Forks FFA, Three Forks Agriculture, and for allowing us to give back to this great community.

Leaf Raking Fun: 7th grade boys versus girls competition--who can fill the most bags?

Tomorrow (Thurs 11/6) is a SCHOOL-WIDE hat day to benefit a local family who lost their house to a fire this week. Any and all hats are welcome, the more fun, the better! $1 minumum per hat.

One of the best units to do in the Principals of Agriculture class is the Tractor Certification Unit. During this unit, students spend two weeks learning about tractor safety, tractor maintenance, and tractor operations. Then students get the opportunity to actually drive a tractor! Students must complete a tractor driving course, and follow basic hand signals to successfully dump a load. Upon completion of the course, all students receive an official certificate from the Department of Labor that certifies them as an official tractor operator. Every student passed and will receive their official certificate. Nobody crashed and Noyes was not run over! A huge, huge thank you to Matt Marx and Torgerson's of Belgrade for bringing us the tractor so that we could do this!

Friendly reminder to middle and high school families that leaf raking is tomorrow (Wednesday 11/5). If students have rakes, gloves, and water, and they dress for the weather, the day will be super successful for everyone!

Dick Anderson Construction Education Team visited Three Forks High School today. Students learned about opportunites through DAC's Pre apprenticeship program and classes offered to high school students through Montana Digital Academy classes.

The Holiday Season is upon us, and Three Forks FFA is accepting completed Christmas wreath donations or even wreath kits for the upcoming Three Forks Christmas Stroll! These wreaths will be in a silent auction during the Christmas Stroll to help raise funds for the Three Forks FFA Chapter. At this time, donations can be dropped off at the school to Mr. Noyes. The annual middle and high school leaf-raking service project is coming up Wednesday, November 6th. If you want to be included on the routes, please call the school with your request and address. Also, please send your middle and high school students with gloves and rakes on Wednesday! The more tools we have, the better we are able to serve our community!

Our Middle and High School teachers were feeling a tad spicy today! We also had a few condiments, some sushi and the Big Bad Wolf! Happy Halloween, everyone, and be safe this evening as our youngsters are out and about on the quest for treats.

The Three Forks Negotiations Committee will meet next week Wednesday, November 6th, 2024 @ 5 pm in the TFS Board Conference Room to discuss a potential adjustment to the certified salary matrix to meet state minimum standards for Quality Educator Payments.
