Three Forks FFA had its first chapter meeting on Tuesday, October 17th in the Agriculture Classroom. We had 14 members in attendance.
Three Forks FFA would like to thank Zoetis for a generous donation to our FFA Chapter, which came from the generous recommendations of Chuteside Veterinary Service and Western Veterinary Service. While we could not accept this donation in person from a representative this time, we wanted to send a group photo to thank our generous sponsors and supporters.

We started a basketball store with BSN. Below are all of the details. I wanted to do this as early as possible so that we have our gear by the time our season starts. Thanks
Link: https://bsnteamsports.com/shop/SJcy8ZXkBT
Dates: 10/16-10/26
Notes: BSN Short Sleeve T tends to run a bit big. I would size down when purchasing that. Nike tends to run a bit small, for first-time Nike buyers I would go a size up.
Delivery: Right now, shops are operating at about a 4-5 week turn time once the shop closes. Of course, I will update as the shop progresses so you can keep fans and athletes in the loop if they ask.

These students are learning the difference between simple and complex carbohydrates.

"What happens in the corn maze, stays in the corn maze."
The middle and high school FCCLA chapter visited Edgewater Farms on Saturday. It turned out to be a very memorable experience for them all. The corn maze was particularly memorable, apparently. The giant bubble trampoline was popular, and a great opportunity for crazy photos. Mrs. Felz and Mrs. Donnelly kept the fire going so their charges could warm up between activities.
FCCLA sponsors one fun event for members every month. Next month they are planning to go to Arts on Fire in Bozeman. Members who help fundraise are not required to pay for the trip. No, it is not too late to join FCCLA for this school year!

Our Livestock Team had a fun day of competing! The team consisted of Dannylle Bunkers, Savannah Emens, Madison Evans, Lucas Killion, Corban Lewellen, Blaze Stout, and Bailee Swingley.

Three Forks FFA left early Sunday morning to head to Billings to attend NILE (Northern International Livestock Show). We brought a Livestock Evaluation, Horse Evaluation, and Meat Science Judging Team. We decided to come down a day early for some chapter bonding. We attended the rodeo and even had some time to check out Scheels. For a few of our students, this was their very first rodeo event! We had a wonderful time and are ready to compete tomorrow!

Another fun few weeks in the Ag. classroom. Several classes are participating in setting up the green house in its new location and leaning about structures. We are also covering the dairy industry, which means making handmade butter and ice cream!
This week, a new class of goats was brought into the classroom so that students could learn about livestock evaluation! There was also a day of chain saw safety and operation in the Wildlife and Recreation class! It has been a fun couple of weeks!

All the senior parents of cross country and football players. We will be starting senior night at 6:40 tonight prior to the football game. If you could be there by 6:15 that would be awesome. If you want to set up anything such as photos, senior pictures, etc come a little earlier so that I can help you get tables and anything else you might need help with. Thank you and congratulations to the seniors and their families.

It's a Domino Derby Thursday in the eighth-grade physical science class. What a great way to figure out average speed.
