Come down and support the Three Forks Wolves softball team today at 3:00 for our first home game of the season. The game scheduled yesterday @ Ennis got moved to today Wednesday the 5th here in Three Forks at the field by the Imerys talc plant. The home game vs Ennis that was scheduled for May 2nd will now be @ Ennis instead of in Three Forks.

Over the next month Three Forks School District will be sharing some frequently asked questions (FAQs) about the May general fund mill levy. In these posts the District will be providing answers to the FAQs in addition to other helpful information to better inform the voting public. If you need further clarification, please contact Superintendent Uthlaut @ 285-6830, ext. 124. FAQ: What programs are available to assist low-income or fixed income families with their taxes? Answer: There are programs that offer property tax assistance for taxpayers who qualify. The Montana Department of Revenue provides an application for tax assistance that can reduce taxes up to 80%. The application form link is Property Tax Assistance Application There is also a Montana Elderly Homeowner / Renter Credit that provides income tax credit based on a ratio of income and rent or taxes. If you need further clarification, please contact Superintendent Uthlaut @ 285-6830, ext. 124. FAQ: Why does the district need a general fund mill levy when the community just passed a bond in 2020? Answer: Bonds are used to finance building projects, construction, or real estate purchases. Mill levies are for operational costs. Expenditures from each are limited to a specific scope and language. The recent bond passed for the TFS building project has specific language that limits the expenditure of funds to identified construction projects only. The mill levy is specifically for operational costs that have inevitably increased as a result of the additional 32,000 square feet of space. These operational costs are occurring due to related staffing, custodial, maintenance, insurance and utility expenses.

Attention TFS Community: Just a reminder that school will be in session this Friday, with normal school hours taking place. This is the rescheduled date due to the December 21 snow day. Thank you!

The softball game on Friday, March 31st has been moved from Three Forks to Florence due to the weather we have had and foresee in the future. Luckily in Florence, it isn't as bad, so instead of canceling the game we decided to just move it there. It's a varsity doubleheader game & will start @ 3:00 & 5:00.

Over the next month Three Forks School District will be sharing information about the general fund mill levy that will go before voters in a mail-in ballot election on May 2, 2023. We will be sharing information on the District website and Facebook page, as well as via town hall meetings and other school events. The District is encouraging community members to get out and vote. If you are new to the area or have not participated in a recent election, you may need to check your voting status. What a fun night of music on Monday with the Three Forks Community Choir joining us for our March concert! Bravo!

Update: The winter sports banquet this Thursday, March 30th will only be wrestling and basketball. The cheerleaders will be having a banquet at a later date. We will let you know when the cheer banquet will be ASAP, Thanks and sorry for the confusion.

Just a reminder that the winter sports banquet will be this Thursday, March 30th @ 6:00 pm in the cafeteria. This banquet is the winter sports of basketball & wrestling. We hope to see all of the student-athletes and parents there to celebrate a great year!
