Parents! Your middle and high school students will be out in the community raking leaves this coming Tuesday, October 2nd. This means a few things for you:
1. Your students will be out of class and off campus.
2. They will need rakes. (There is a Spirit Stick Contest! More rakes means a better chance of winning!)
3. Students should dress for the weather and the activity--gloves, sturdy shoes, pants, long-sleeve shirts, jackets, etc.
4. This is a community service activity that many members of our community benefit from directly. It is made more meaningful if students understand that and come with a serving mindset and a positive attitude.

$$$ FAFSA Night TONIGHT at 6:00 pm in the school library! Come - bring your senior! The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) can sometimes be confusing. Come and ask an expert! Also, 99% of scholarship applications require that the student first fill out the FAFSA. This is reason enough to complete it! $$$

I have started a Google Classroom for seniors and their parents/guardians. It has information about scholarships, colleges, financial aid, etc. Ask your child to add you, or shoot me an email and I will add you!
