A huge thank you to Chuteside Veterinary Clinic for sending Chelsey Petz, DVM, cVMA and Amy Grenier, CVT to our Veterinary Science class for the afternoon. These two ladies did a wonderful job explaining what goes into being a large animal vet and even brought the truck to show students all the fun toys they use. Our vet science class got to hear real-world experiences that happen in the vet world, and even got to practice doing a physical examination on the inside of the animal! We are in the final countdown, but we just don't seem to be slowing down! Middle school projects continue to become more advanced and super creative as we bring the year to a close. We even had some 5th-grade students join us for a couple of days. Great job middle school students!

Attached is our basketball camp flyer. Please sign up early so that we can get shirt sizes. If you don't and show up the day of there is no guarantee you will get a shirt. The elementary students do a great job signing up early but our high school and middle school never do. Do your best to help us out so we know how many kids we have. The softball team is headed to the State tournament tomorrow in just their second year as a program which is pretty amazing. Their game was scheduled at 2:00 but has been pushed back to 4:00 due to the weather.

Just a reminder that there is a middle school football camp this week. There is a waiver form that needs to be signed by the parents. It is free of cost. It will be held on the football field weather permitted, if it's not nice enough they will be in the main gym.
6th Grade/entering 7th grade next fall is Tuesday May 21st 4-5:30
6th & 7th grade/entering 7th & 8th next fall is Wednesday May 22nd 4-5:30
6th & 7th grade passing clinic for wide receivers, quarterbacks, and running backs will be Thursday, May 23rd 4-5:30.

Our Middle School students had a blast last night at their end of the year semi formal! A huge thank you to Mrs. Donnolly and all of the parents that volunteered to help put this event on for our kids!!
For the last several weeks when the weather has cooperated, middle school PE students have been having some fun with their archery unit! A big shout out to Mrs. Welter and Mr. Lattimore for all of their work to make archery available for our students!
One last round of cute critters in the agriculture classroom. Bingo and Rosie came to the classroom to receive a physical examination by the vet science students! They loved it!

What a day for the Wolves golfers at the state tournament in Shelby. The girls fought back from 5th place after day 1 to secure some hardware and take 3rd place honors and Ari Judd was crowned the individual CHAMPION shooting 81-78 to outpace all her competition. We also had Devon Long claim All-State honors shooting 82-79 and taking 14th place! Well done to all the golfers! What a great season!
