The results are in... Three Forks School thinks the Montana State Bobcats will take the University of Montana Grizzlies. The better news, however, is that (unofficially), the Headwaters Area Food Bank collects a whopping 2262 pounds! We also had almost $200 donated to our outstanding School Lunch Account balance. Three Forks, we can not thank you enough. We are Wolves!

Three Forks FCCLA students are back for the annual 'Sub for Santa' project. For the 2023 Three Forks Chamber of Commerce Christmas Stroll (December 1) , commemorative Christmas Stroll buttons are being sold to generate funding to provide gift and food baskets to families in need this holiday season. Buttons also double as delightful ornaments to adorn the tree with.
Supporting the 'Sub for Santa' project is easy. Stroll buttons are available from this weekend at Be Lazy Quilting, Legacy Trading, Main Street Office and Manhattan Bank. The night of the stroll, watch for FCCLA Elves in front of Legacy Trading on the corner of Main and Cedar.

Congratulations to Ashley Darling, our Lead Chef Extraordinaire, in the Three Forks Lunch Room. Ashley recently competed in the Montana School Nutrition Association's School Foods contest. She took home a 1st Place award for the Yogurt Berry Bowls and 2nd Place for her Homemade Breakfast Quiche. Her winnings totaled $750 that are to be used for new kitchen tools and equipment.

7th Graders doing good stuff in the community!

We have 29 elementary students who are working hard to make this amazing! Shout out to the high school students are are making it happen!

So proud of my Sixth Grade students who worked hard to rake leaves for the community and had a blast in the process! You all rock!

Thank you to all families and neighborhood folks who have helped our students in their quest to gather donations for the 'WHO WILL WIN?" food drive. There are several students who have hit the streets to gather non-perishables and our hats are off to those community members that have assisted in filling the shelves of Headwaters Area Food Bank.
As a reminder, those wishing to donate can send items in this week. The classroom from each the Elementary, Middle and High school with the most poundage wins! And, one lucky student from each school has the chance to win a 2023-2024 yearbook, valued up to $52.
Those wishing to donate, but are unable to make it to the school can reach out to Mrs. Oehmcke by calling the school at 406-285-3224 or joehmcke@threeforks.k12.mt.us to make pickup arrangements.

As a reminder to the Families of 2024 Graduates... There are dozens and dozens of scholarship opportunities posted for our students looking to pursue post-secondary education in all professions of study. These scholarship benefit those entering the trades as well as those heading off to college. Students should log on to the 'Class of 2024' Google Classroom for a complete list. Reach out with questions.

If you're out and about gathering groceries this weekend, and are able to, grab an extra can or two for our Cat versus Griz Food Drive. Students can cast votes with food donations with the classes with the most poundage winning breakfast treats. And, one lucky winner from each school will win a 2023-2024 yearbook, valued up to $52. Donations benefit the Headwaters Area Food Bank.
Others that do not have students in school but would still like to participate can reach out to joehmcke@threeforks.k12.mt.us to make arrangements for gathering your donations.

A few more great photos from our job fair today!

Today, Three Forks Schools had its 3rd Annual Job Fair and it was a great success! The job fair was primarily planned and orchestrated by Threr Forks senior and FFA Secretary, Calla Donnelly! Calla did a great job putting on this event and had great support and assistance from here Three Forks FFA Chapter and fellow FFA Officers. Calla would like to offer special thanks to Corban Lewellen, Kortney Merrit, Violet Donnelly (Three Forks FCCLA), Aislynn Gifford (Three Forks FCCLA), and Emileigh McCormick for their help in the planning process!
The Three Forks job fair was a huge success, with 28 businesses attending to talk to our students and prepare them for career success. There were several amazing conversations that took place, and Three Forks students really took advantage of this great opportunity. We would like to thank the Three Forks Staff, Administration, the Three Forks FFA, Broadwater FFA Chapter, Gallatin FCCLA, Manhatten Christen NHS, and all business representatives for putting on this event and investing in our student's success!

Please remind your middle and high school students to come to school with rakes, gloves, jackets, sturdy shoes, and a great attitude tomorrow, Thursday, November 9th for our annual middle school/high school leaf raking (weather permitting).
