the corn is almost ready and tomatoes are turning red.
Thank you to Living Sky Farms for donating 50 pounds of flour. We will be using it to make the crust for apple pie in Culinary Arts I as part of our Farm to Table lab...locally grown apples and locally grain grain. we will also be making zucchini bread with zucchini from our own school GarDen.

Jr. High Football Game Change – Boulder

I ran into a bit of a surprise with junior high football. I got an email from Arbiter saying our game @ Boulder, originally scheduled for Monday evening, was moved to Wednesday evening. I was never directly informed about the change, so I’m glad a few people caught it in their emails.

Turns out Boulder can’t host Monday because they’re finishing up their new track, and it needs two days without foot traffic.

The only complication is that Wednesday is church night, and we try not to schedule games then. That said, with both teams having full schedules, we’d likely have to cancel the game if we don’t play Wednesday. If this conflicts with youth group for you student they will NOT be punished for missing their game.

So the game is now scheduled for Wednesday, September 10th @ 7:00 pm.

Thanks

The TFS District held an informational meeting last evening regarding training for CDL certification & passenger endorsement - driving a route and / or activity bus. If you are interested in driving for TFS, training classes are scheduled to take place on the following dates: Wednesday, Sept 10, Monday, Sept 15, and Wednesday, Sept 17th. It's not too late to join our classes! Interested individuals can fill out an employment application on the district web site employment tab: https://www.applitrack.com/tfschools/onlineapp/
The district is offering the classes through our Adult Education program at no charge to participants. The district is also offering a signing bonus and licensing cost reimbursement for individuals committed to working for TFS. Call our Business Office @ 406-285-3224, ext 125 or 124 for more information.
Please help our recruitment efforts and in turn help our students. Additional drivers will affect our ability to offer additional bus routes as well as transport students to activities.

Three Forks FFA is off and rolling for another competitive year! Our livestock evaluation team met this morning at 7:00 A.M. to have our first practice as we prepare for our first district contest, the Ruby Valley Invitational. Forestry will practice tomorrow at 7:00 A.M. With many new members and more contests to attend, Three Forks FFA will be very busy this year, but is so excited to compete in all of our LDEs and CDEs.

Hi everyone,

We’ve added a JV football game to our high school schedule. There was a two-week gap where the JV team would’ve only had practices, so Coach Sullivan and I agreed it was important to get a game scheduled during that time.

We’ll be playing Butte High’s Sophomore team on Monday, October 13th at 3:00 PM at Naranche Stadium in Butte.

Thanks for your support!

I’m sorry to announce another change to our volleyball schedule, but I had to work with Whitehall to accommodate both of our homecoming weeks. Originally, we were scheduled to play on Thursday, but Whitehall has a homecoming parade planned that afternoon, just like we do during our own homecoming week.

We considered pushing the game back an hour, but both schools agreed it would make for a late night, so we’ve decided to move the game to Monday, September 22nd instead.

Thank you all for your flexibility and understanding. I know changes like this can be inconvenient, but we’re glad the girls still get to play during homecoming week!

The Three Forks School District will be offering a training program for individuals interested in obtaining their CDL and passenger endorsement for driving route and / or activity buses. The classes will be administered through our Adult Education program. There will be an informational meeting next week Wednesday, Sept 3, 2025 in the TFS Board Conference Room. This meeting will not obligate anyone to the classes but will merely serve as an opportunity for additional information including Q&A. The district is also offering a signing bonus and expense reimbursement for those willing to commit to providing transportation on routes and / or activities.

We have been notified that the tax credit portal will open again in late September. This is in addition to the annual portal that occurs in January each year.

Beginning on September 23, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., a limited number of Public School Districts (PSD) tax credits for tax year 2025 will become available on the Education Donations2 Portal.

These tax credits are available because some previously approved credits from other districts became invalid. A credit reservation can become invalid if a donation amount was recorded incorrectly, or a PSD returned a donation to a donor. These invalid credit amounts will be “put back” in the pool of available credits as of September 23, 2025.

As of August 27, 2025, there is $84,750 in PSD tax credits available for reservation (statewide). This credit amount will be quickly claimed by districts (typically within mere seconds or minutes). Please call the Three Forks Business Office @ 406- 285-3224, ext 125, if you have questions or if you are interested in a tax credit that would benefit our students and schools.
