Missoula Children's Theatre is coming to Three Forks!! MCT will be at TF Schools for their week-long residency starting Monday, April 15th, preparing for the show, Robin Hood. Over the next month Three Forks School District will be sharing some frequently asked questions (FAQs) about the May general fund operational mill levy. In these posts the District will be providing answers to the FAQs in addition to other helpful information to better inform the voting public. FAQ: Why does the district need to run a general fund operational mill levy?

Local Scholarships are due April 26, 2024! Please have your graduate log on to or visit with Mr. Hessen to learn more about funding available to them for post-secondary education.

Over the next month Three Forks School District will be sharing information about the general fund mill levy that will go before voters in the May 7th election. We will be sharing information on Infinite Campus Messenger, the District website, District Facebook page, as well as via town hall meetings and other school events. Access this link, https://www.tfschools.com/page/levy for more information. The District is encouraging community members to get out and vote. If you are new to the area or have not participated in a recent election, you may need to check your voting status. Access, https://www.voteinmt.org/check-your-status to check your voter registration status. If your status is “inactive”, you need to contact the county elections office to activate/re-active your registration. For those community members that are new to Montana, you will need to complete a registration application which can be found online as well as in any District office. The District is happy to assist with any questions or required paperwork. Mrs. Katie Magnus shares her creativity and passion for technology with all of us in her role as Technology Integration Coach and K-5 Technology Teacher. Followers of our Facebook page have seen many of the cool projects she designs for our students!

The class of 2028 is fundraising for their class trip to Billings. On Thursday 8th-graders went home with at least one sheet of tickets. Their class trip will happen before their 8th-grade promotion this year. They plan to spend the morning at Wild Rose Action Center, have lunch at Chick-fil-A, and spend the afternoon at The Reef. If you are interested in supporting them or would like a chance or 10 at these great prizes, hit up your favorite 8th grader, or come into the middle school office and get what you need there. Thank you!

As a high school science teacher, Mrs. Anna Berghausen puts extra time and effort into making rigorous and relevant lessons for her students. We were all excited for her as she and her husband welcomed a new addition to the Wolf family last summer!

Mr. Steven Fanning has serves as our elementary principal, but he also has stepped up throughout the years to coach various sports and run Little Wolves. There isn't much this guy wouldn't do to help our students, staff, and community, and we sure appreciate all his dedication!

The subject of our next profile needs little introduction: Mr. Aaron Harkins. He's not only one of the best math teachers in the state and a great golf coach, but he also has a pretty great sense of humor!

Attention Middle School Parents, This week your students will be bringing home an opt-out letter for our yearly maturation classes. Classes will start the week of April 8th and last 5-6 days over a two week period. We are utilizing the same program that we have used for the past several years, but will now be incorporating sixth grade as well. Please read over the letter, sign it and return it only if you wish for your student to NOT attend the classes. If you have any questions, you make contact your students teacher or our provider. Thank you!

Mrs. Alisha Boone, one of our first grade teachers, describes how she loves working at Three Forks Elementary because it feels like working with family. She's shared her love of running for the past few years with the middle school cross country program as well!

Jenny Shumway has spent over 20 years teaching kindergarten; this alone deserves her a standing ovation! She and her family are a great example the way our entire community is strengthened when teachers move to Three Forks to work in our school and raise their children.

Mr. Tyler Noyes may have grown up as a Bulldog, but we are sure lucky to have him here as a Wolf. He has done an outstanding job in his first year in Three Forks in our Agricultural Education Program and as the FFA advisor!

Prom is April 6, 2024! This year's planning committee has been preparing for the Vegas-themed event, to be held in the Three Forks Historic Gymnasium from 9:00-midnight. We invite the public to attend the Grand March, held at 8:00pm in the Main Gymnasium. Photography will be offered by Katie Sophia Photography while refreshments will be prepared by the Food Service of Three Forks Schools. Early bird ticket pricing is available and students bringing guests will need to complete a pre-approval form prior to the evening's festivities. As a reminder, the Bus Loop is NOT a loading/unloading zone. With the influx of traffic, this area has become increasingly congested and unsafe for students. It also adds levels of difficulty on the bus drivers as they try to maneuver efficiently. Please utilize the Northeast Loop (near the elementary entrance).

For our 3rd teacher profile this week, we bring you Sandra Cutler, long time English teacher for middle and high school grades.

HAT DAY was a huge success! Students wore fun head-gear and even brought fun head-gear to share with friends. Some of the best hats were the invisible kind--students not wearing hats were still sporting the stamp! Overall we raised over $650 to help the senior center buy a new double oven and other supplies! Great job Three Forks Schools!
